Tent? Anyone?
The manager from Walgreens called me last week and asked if I would like to set up some sort of "Adoption Day" with them - we would bring some animals down to the store, they would help promote it, give away pet supplies with each adoption, etc. We scheduled it for a Saturday in August, and right now I am on the lookout for a canopy-type tent to help provide a little shade for the volunteers and the animals. So if anyone in the area has one they would let me borrow, let me know! Also, everyone who reads this and lives within an hour and a half of me will be required to come to the adoption day and adopt no less than one (1) animal. More details to come.

It's a shame I'm exempt.... :-)
I don't have a tent and I'm not adopting any animals. Let me repeat that...I'M NOT ADOPTING ANY ANIMALS! But I would be willing to volunteer that day if you need me. I've volunteered for several "adoption days" in my time. I'm really good at refilling water and walking dogs to the nearest sliver of grass.
