The older I get, the less tolerant I am of the heat. And I am only 25. I'm worried I will have to move to Alaska soon. I don't know if it is all in my head or what, but I step outside and almost lose my breath it is so hot. I sweat just thinking about how hot it is. How do people who have to work outside do it?! I can barely walk to the mailbox without passing out. I'm ready for winter. Look for a post in 6 months about how I can't handle the cold weather.

These are the giant colored lights they shine on the falls at night.

This litle girl was chasing seagulls.

She wasn't very good at it.

The seagulls were everywhere. One of them dive-bombed me.

We had to wait for a while to cross the boarder.

I was very underwhelmed, until Mandy told me these weren't the real falls.

Vacation

In no particular order...

This is Mandy's favorite billboard, it was on the way to Lewiston from the airport.

Lewiston is the town Mandy lives in. It was quaint and smelled like flowers.

This was the "fish cleaning station" down by the water in Lewiston.

I'll be honest, it did not smell great.

But it had some funny signs. They used the word "clean" a lot.

And they stated the obvious a lot.

I am sitting in the airport, watching the sun come up and listening to the hustle and bustle. They have started boarding for my flight now. Chad thought it might be interesting if I started a twitter account for my vacation sop he knew what I was up to. If anyone else is interested in following me, my username is katiedeshon. Not sure if you have to sign up to follow me or not, so don't sign up if you don't want to, I doubt anything I say will be that interesting.

My life has turned upside down

for the following reasons:
1. My hair is being worn curly. You know me, I prefer the straight. But it is naturally curly, why have I been fighting it so long?
2. My beautiful red bug is in very poor health and must be replaced with a new car. I had my heart set on another beautiful red bug, in hopes of smoothing the transition between cars, but then I test drove a mini cooper. And my heart was lost. Hopefully the mini comes to live at my house tonight. Pics to follow.
3. I am working on a Wednesday because I am going on vacation on Friday! My flight to Buffalo, NY leaves at 6am. Mandy will pick me up and play tour guide until I come home next Tuesday evening. Pics to follow.
4. I got a new phone. My last phone was very small. This phone is very big. Pics to follow.
