I feel like everything is important.

Today I read this quote:
"If everything is important, nothing is important."
I think I'm in trouble.

Tour of Missouri 2009 #2

Changing from Start...
To Finish...

This was the stage where the announcers/VIPs were - right across the street from us at the Start/Finish line.

The end - look past the arms and you'll see a whole mess of bikers.

Tour of Missouri 2009

This is the face of a true bicycling fan. He claimed his spot at the finish line and stood there for over two hours.

This is the face of someone who doesn't totally understand bicycling. 3 minutes after claiming her spot she got bored and went to find something else to do. Anything else.

This is the face of last year's Tour of Missouri winner. He broke his hand earlier in this year's race, so he wasn't able to finish. Luckily he came to see the final leg of the race and I was able to take some slightly stalkerish photos of him with my super-duper zoom lens. Go Team Garmin.

"Big Blue"

Labor Day 2009

This is the 8th year I have spent Labor Day with Chad's family at the Hot Air Balloon Derby. The weather only allowed for two flights this year, but we went ahead and sat in the field for all the flights that were scheduled. You know. Just in case. Here are some photos.

Look closely, there is an airplane between the two balloons.

This one was called "Vitamin D."

DeShon Men

DeShon Men share a lot of the same qualities. The funny thing about these pictures is that this isn't even Chad's dad - it's his uncle. It didn't even hit me how similar they were acting until I was flipping through the photos later. All DeShon Men act the same way. It's weird.
