Brad Paisley Concert

This might be a long one, but stick with me, because the best part is at the end!

Last night my friend Darla and I went to the Brad Paisley concert. We probably walked around for at least 30 minutes looking for our seats - The Sprint Center is huge and we were walking pretty slow. We finally found them - they had to have been the worst seats in the house. Seriously. They were as high as you could get and directly to the side of the stage - we couldn't see Brad or the screens or anything! But before we could sit down, a man stopped us and said "Just the two of you?" We said yes and he offered us 2 floor tickets. He said "The only bad thing is you might have to stand up to see." Anything was better than what we had, so we took them and then started whining to each other about how it had taken us forever to find these seats, and it was going to be impossible to find our new seats! So the nice man said, "Follow me." We have no idea where we are going or who this guy is or what the heck is going on, but we still follow him! He takes us through stairwells, secret hallways, rooms, all places that the general public isn't allowed and he kept flashing his badge at the Sprint security people and saying, "They're with me." Finally he takes us into the VIP lounge, (which was amazing!) and then straight out the other side where we ended up near the floor seats. Then he handed us over to an usher and told us to "Enjoy the show."

We had been walking so fast that we hadn't looked at our new tickets to see where our seats were, so an usher looked at them for us and sent us to the 4th row. Did you catch that? 4th row. Jewel was the opening act and we could see up her dress. She was wearing light blue underwear and she had hairy legs. And the guy who gave us these tickets thought we might not want them because we would have to "stand a lot!!" So we're just hanging out in our awesome 4th row seats, enjoying the concert and Brad starts to sing "Letter to me." There are pictures flashing on the screen behind him, and up comes one of Brad Paisley with his arm around the man who gave us our tickets. So we start to wonder who it is - Surely Brad doesn't just take pictures with random employees and then use them during his concerts! It was during the "dad" part of the song, so we joke around that maybe that was Brad's dad. The concert ends, we go home, I do a little Google research and yes, that was in fact Brad's father. Brad Paisley's father gave us awesome tickets and then escorted us to our seats. Doug Paisley, tour manager and bus driver was just hanging out in the nosebleed section, waiting for 2 hot young things to come along so he could make their concert experience a night they would never forget!

It was an amazing show, I love all of his songs and we would have had a good time no matter where we were sitting, but ohmygosh, Brad Paisley's dad gave us 4th row tickets!!
