You're nosy. I'm sure you think that saying "I'm being nosy" when you are about to be nosy justifies the nosiness, but in reality, it just makes it worse. I have met plenty of nosy people in my life, but never someone who so blatantly admits it.

You are right, they seem to think if they admit they are going to be rude....it somehow excuses the rudeness! You are a very astute person, especially when it comes to nosy co-workers!
